GIS Bootcamp will introduce students to key concepts in geographic information systems by working through a guided project from start to finish over an eight-week term. Students will learn to define and plan a geospatial problem, find and clean data, use GIS software (QGIS) to add, compare, analyze, and effectively visualize insights about the project based on this work. By the end of the bootcamp, students will have a template for conducting a common GIS problem and have a basic understanding of using GIS.
