5.5 CEs

Developed in partnership with The Institute for Intimacy & Sexuality and Planned Parenthood Great Rivers, the Sexuality Educator Antiracist Training (SEAT) empowers therapists, counselors, and sexuality professionals of all racial identities with skills to confront, interrupt, de-construct, and challenge racism in personal attitudes and interpersonal interactions. The SEAT training was developed from a pluralistic viewpoint, designed to go beyond centering "white supremacy culture" standards. SEAT guides participants through an experiential learning cycle, in which they address affective and attitudinal responses to racist incidents, and gain skills to apply outside the training to reduce harm and interrupt racism, utilizing trauma responsiveness with individuals and groups.

This is an in-person workshop that will be held on Washington University’s Danforth Campus. The exact location and directions will be emailed to registered participants before the course date.

This workshop meets the licensure requirement for 3 hours of continuing education in diversity/cultural competency/humility.
