What does "spiritual" mean?  What is a "spiritual journey"?  This course offers an opportunity to explore aspects of spiritual growth and reflection, whether participants are part of a specific religious community or not, and regardless of belief in a divine being.  Working as a whole and in small groups, participants will engage with small selections of sacred texts, including their own writings.  Songs, stories, poems, images and objects will be shared as spiritual concepts and practices are explored.  Come with a searching heart and an open mind, ready to read, listen, reflect, and share. Required text: The Illustrated World’s Religions, A Guide to Our Wisdom Traditions, by Huston Smith
