This course will equip social workers with the tools and techniques to support clients in addressing their sexual concerns and instill confidence in their clients that they can discuss these topics well. This two-day intensive training will cover three key areas: appropriate terminology to use with clients, assessment strategies, and clinical intervention skills. Throughout the training, participants will practice these clinical tools using various case vignettes covering topics such as gender identity, sexual orientation, kink and fetish, sexual dysfunctions, relationship dynamics, sex work, and sexual health. By the end of this training, participants will feel provide their clients with a more sex-positive experience.
