This class will include both degree-seeking graduate students and practicing professionals. Individuals registering through Professional Development will receive continuing education units - but not academic credit - for the class.
Learner Outcomes
- Identify the theoretical foundations and empirical support for Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
- Describe PTSD symptoms in alignment with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.
- Demonstrate understanding of core components and interventions used in the CPT protocol.
- Apply clinical skills through observation and practice, addressing potential challenges in therapeutic settings.
Course Completion Requirements:
The Brown School is an approved provider of Social Work CEs in Missouri and Illinois. To earn credit, attendees must arrive at the scheduled time, attend the entire course, and complete an online course evaluation. You may still qualify for partial Social Work Missouri and Illinois CEs if you miss part of the training.
