Registration deadline: June 14th

This workshop will be held in person at the Brown School.

16 CEUs

Mentoring the next generation of clinicians is one of the most rewarding ways seasoned social workers can contribute to the future of our field and the access of future clients to quality care. This 16-hour course presents a detailed, in-depth look at the major models and stages of supervision, including supervision methods and techniques.

The dynamics of supervisor-therapist-client relationships will be explored, including contextual variables in practice. We will focus on best practices and Missouri State standards for clinical supervision of a new social worker. Drawing on opportunities to examine and practice supervisory skills in small group discussions and through skill-building exercises, participants will develop and articulate their own model of supervision.

This workshop is designed to meet the Missouri requirements for 16 hours of supervisory training that LCSWs with 5+ years of experience need to supervise new clinicians toward licensure.

General Admission: $240**

Class size is limited to 45.

**Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other WU programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available. Admission discounts can be selected in the checkout process.
