BRWN-200001 - Basics of SQL: A First Course in Using Relational Databases to Analyze Publicly Available Data

Registration deadline: June 7th 15 CEUs/CPH units   This course will introduce students to the database language SQL, using the open-source relational database management system MySQL. The class will begin with an introduction to databases, and then cover the major features of a database. Students will learn to create tables and fields; define relationship between tables; and manipulate numbers, strings and dates. Students will obtain solid knowledge of the language, how to retrieve and manage data efficiently.
