BRWN-200018 - Manuscript Writing: Developing and Submitting Your Work for Academic Publication

Please contact Professional Development with any questions. 15 CEUs/CPH units - (7.5 live, 7.5 self-paced)   This course will help students learn to write scholarly manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Students will learn and apply tools for writing each section of a manuscript including tables and figures, responding to reviewer critiques and selecting journals for submission. The course is designed for those who are new to writing for publication as a lead author. Students should enter the course with an idea of manuscript project to work on. They will develop the manuscript through the course and submit it for peer review as the final course requirement. The course will consist of daily live Zoom webinars from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., and additional course material in Canvas.
