Preferred registration deadline: December 6th 6 CEUs/CPH units This workshop will help you apply story-telling skills to make your presentations and speeches more compelling, memorable, and effective. We will begin by considering how the Narrative Arc applies to all storytelling, reviewing its elements and discussing how to use it as a guide when crafting a story. The class will leverage well-known media as examples before creating our own narratives based on personal experiences. We will practice gathering feedback from others to improve our story construction and delivery. Participants will leave with an improved skill to leverage for their public speaking and presentations. General Admission: $120** Class size is limited to 30. **Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available. Admission discounts apply automatically in your cart, based on your profile in our registration software.
