BRWN-010043 - Dynamic Group Facilitation: Engaging Experiences for Varying Audience Sizes and Energy Levels

Preferred registration deadline: July 19th 6 CEUs/CPH units This workshop will help participants increase their comfort and skill facilitating dynamic meetings – of any audience size.Build your awareness of interactive activities are scalable for small groups or large ones - such as call and response, pair/share, writing prompts, and full group activities – and when it might be appropriate to use each. Participants will gain strategies for giving directions to a group, developing facilitation activities related to their identified topic, and managing various responses to activities. Finally, we will examine techniques that can be leveraged to create connection between the group and the facilitator and among the members of the group. General Admission: $120** Class size is limited to 45. **Discounts on admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, recent alumni (for 2 years after graduation), other alumni (more than 2 years after graduation), field instructors, faculty, and staff.
