Preferred registration deadline: October 9th This workshop will be conducted in a virtual Zoom meeting online format. 6 CEUs This class will introduce third wave Cognitive Behavioral Therapies that can be employed when working with adolescents and addictions. Participants will learn and practice Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques as well as ways to tailor delivery for teen substance use. We will be practicing the components of impact, an intervention that combines MI, ACT and contingency management into one flexible treatment approach. This class will provide an opportunity to learn and practice delivering engaging and experiential therapeutic techniques designed to help teens move toward not only recovery but also life directions that matter most to them. General Admission: $120** Class size is limited to 70. **Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors.
