Preferred registration deadline: May 3rd This workshop will be conducted in a virtual Zoom meeting format. 3 CEUs This workshop introduces attendees to the world of perinatal mental health and the care pathway for women and birthing individuals. We will review the various disorders and risk factors, symptoms, and how to screen, assess, and support them. A broad overview of treatments will be given to assist social workers in making appropriate referrals. Participants will examine racial disparities within perinatal mental health as well as co-occurring disorders that can impact women and birthing people during the perinatal period. Attention will also be given to impacts on partners, legislative changes, and available social supports and community resources. General Admission: $60**   Class size is limited to 30. **Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available.
