Preferred registration deadline: February 18th This workshop will be conducted in a virtual Zoom meeting format. 3 CEUs While therapists may wish to be helpful to any prospective client, ethical practice demands that we assess our ability to be helpful to potential new clients and to refer elsewhere when appropriate. This workshop will provide a framework to consider the scope and niche of your practice and how to structure a client interview to assess for fit. We will consider cultural variables, the impact of bias, and the role of self-disclosure. Policies and procedures will be discussed to help provide guardrails and manage expectations for the relationship, from its beginning to termination. General Admission: $60**   Class size is limited to 40. **Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available.
