Preferred registration deadline: January 21st This workshop will be conducted in a virtual Zoom meeting format. 3 CEUs Documentation is a legal and ethical obligation that can leave social workers feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, and anxious – especially when they fall behind or their days are not structured to allow sufficient time for this duty.   In this workshop, participants will learn strategies to meet their ethical responsibility to maintain accurate confidential case files. We will review the NASW Code of Ethics standards pertaining to documentation as well as current best practices for storing case files in physical and digital formats. Participants will also practice succinct ways of writing documentation that both protects client information and reduces secondary traumatic stress to the social worker. Lastly, this workshop will offer suggestions for individuals and agencies to help complete documentation in a timely fashion. This class meets the licensure requirement for 3 hours of continuing education in ethics. General Admission: $60**   Class size is limited to 50. **Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors.
