Preferred registration deadline: December 3rd This workshop will be conducted in a virtual Zoom meeting format. 3 CEUs Most people will agree that adolescence and young adulthood can be turbulent times. Learning to navigate emotions, relationships and a life direction can be challenging. Join DBT-Linehan Board Certified Clinician Jessica Dyer for this interactive workshop to explore some of the most useful skills from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). We’ll review specific DBT skills that help increase client awareness of self, how and when to introduce the skills in session and practice the application of the skills together. Our content will include one or more skills from each DBT module: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.   This workshop is appropriate for clinicians who have some DBT background as well as those who do not. We will not be reviewing the entire DBT protocol but rather highlighting some principles from DBT that can be flexibly applied.
