Preferred registration deadline: March 5th This workshop will be conducted in a virtual Zoom meeting online format. 3 CEUs Taking time to plan for high-quality interviews and a robust onboarding process increases the likelihood new team members will be successful - both in your agency and in their role. In this workshop, you’ll learn to identify the critical competencies for a specific role, on a specific team, and a specific point in time, with consideration for where and how the new team member will work. We’ll discuss how to conduct in-depth interviews to gauge a candidate’s ability and desire to do the job. Finally, participants will learn how to develop an onboarding process that ensures new team members feel welcome, equipped to do their job well, and committed to your agency. General Admission: $60** Class size is limited to 30. **Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors.
