Preferred registration deadline: February 5th This workshop will be conducted in a virtual Zoom meeting online format. 3 CEUs/CPH units Balance is not static or passive. Our responsibilities, interests and relationships change over time. COVID-19 has presented us with significant, at time unique, challenges in navigating this terrain: shifts in routine, social connection, parenting, job functions, and leisure. This experiential workshop combines lecture, discussion, and exercises to engage participants in creating an active, dynamic model for personal and professional balance, updated to include the considerable impact of COVID. We will explore the concept of ideal vs. real balance. The importance of motivations, allies, and obstacles in creating and maintaining balance will be discussed, as will strategies to move from insight to action toward creating a more balance life, during, and beyond, the pandemic. General Admission: $60** Class size is limited to 30. **Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available.
