Preferred registration deadline: September 18th This workshop will be conducted in a virtual Zoom meeting online format. 3 CEUs When lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual + (LGBTQIA) individuals experience suicidal thoughts, they may face difficulty accessing quality treatment for mental wellness. Negative interactions with providers can lead them to be less likely to seek help when they need it the most. This workshop is for behavioral health providers who provide psychotherapy or clinical services to clients at high-risk for suicide, specifically those in the LGBTQIA+ community, and who aim to promote self-acceptance, increase positive social engagement, and improve mental and physical health outcomes for their clients.   This class meets the Missouri requirement for at least 2 CEUs in suicide continuing education each licensure period. General Admission: $60**   Class size is limited to 40. **Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available.
