Preferred registration deadline: March 13th 3 CEUs The digital age has ushered in a new way of communicating, and has at times, made social workers’ jobs easier while also posing some unforeseen ethical landmines. This three hour workshop will explore the tenants of ethics as it relates to the social work field. It will also take a closer look at ethical principles that can pose unique challenges to social workers, such as technology, scope of practice, and dignity of the client. Participants will use an ethical decision making framework to work through a variety of scenarios that social workers commonly face. This class meets the licensure requirement for 3 hours of continuing education in ethics. General Admission: $60** Class size is limited to 45. **Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available.
