Preferred registration deadline: January 17th 3 CEUs The beliefs often associated with traditional masculinity - independence, strength, action, and thought over emotion - impact how men, women, and families cope with loss. Some males adhere to these role expectations; some do not. This workshop will provide an integrated model for understanding the masculine side of grief, along with identifying the strengths and the blocks to healing that often impact males experiencing loss. Specific strategies for assisting males in embracing cognitive, action-oriented and expressive approaches to grief will be discussed. General Admission: $60**   Class size is limited to 30. **Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available.
