BRWN-010095 - Embracing Feedback: How to Ask for and Receive the Information You Need

Preferred registration deadline: December 6th 3 CEUs/CPH units Feedback is powerful. It can motivate us and keep us going. It can play an important part in our personal and professional growth. Feedback, however, is not always easy to hear or to accept, especially when it is too general, delivered poorly, unfair, or just not useful.   In this interactive workshop, participants will explore what makes feedback useful for them and how to ask for such feedback from others, including supervisors, direct reports, peers, and clients. Additionally, this workshop will explore what gets in the way of embracing feedback and offer strategies to be more receptive to even the most critical of feedback. While feedback is a give and take process, this workshop will emphasize receiving rather than giving feedback.
