Preferred registration deadline: November 29th 3 CEUs As the Latino population of the United States grows, so does the need for mental health professionals who understand the family dynamics, migration experiences, ecological stressors, and cultural resources frequently shared by Latino families. This workshop will cover the socio-political context of Latino diversity, as well as migration experience, racism, and mental health disparities within the Latino community. The potential complexity of both the family's and the therapist's cultural perspective will be addressed. Multiple learning methods - including lecture, case studies, and experiential activities - are employed in this workshop. General Admission: $60** Class size is limited to 40. **Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available.
