Preferred registration deadline: November 15th 3 CEUs An allegation that a child has been abused always signals a difficult time for that family and often surfaces a range of challenging issues among family members. It is not uncommon for family members who have not been accused of any wrongdoing whatsoever to find themselves in painful situations of stress, confusion, shame, guilt, and conflicting loyalties. Social workers often play a key role in supporting families as they navigate through a child abuse/neglect investigation. We may also be involved in the investigations themselves. This workshop will foster better understanding of the investigative process and will explore how to support families through and beyond the process. General Admission: $60** Class size is limited to 45. **Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available. Admission discounts apply automatically in your cart, based on your profile in our registration software.
