Preferred registration deadline: October 11th 3 CEUs Many people seeking support from a therapist do so because they need help navigating challenging relationships, maintaining healthy boundaries or having productive "confrontations". Underlying issues include fear, cultural values, anxiety about hurting others' feelings, lack of clarity about relationship expectations, and uncertainty about their own feelings and rights. Join us to consider and discuss the function and types of boundaries implicit in healthy relationships. Common scenarios of boundary incursions will be shared, along with tools for use in session. Participants will be invited to consider our own boundary challenges, as well as the role of gender, culture, and religion in shaping the options people see as available to them when navigating relationship challenges. General Admission: $60** Class size is limited to 30. **Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available. Admission discounts apply automatically in your cart, based on your profile in our registration software.
