BRWN-010035 - Navigating Ethical Considerations in Reporting Suspected Child Abuse

Preferred registration deadline: April 26th 3 CEUs Reasonable suspicion serves as the standard threshold for when to report suspected child abuse; however, there is little guidance on how to interpret the term. This workshop will review the ethical and legal requirements pertaining to mandatory reporting, recognizing abuse, and best practices. The workshop will foster a better understanding of ethical practice and how to recognize and address ethical challenges. The discussion will center on navigating gray areas and dilemmas while adhering to ethical and legal guidelines. General Admission: $50** Class size is limited to 45. This class meets the licensure requirement for 3 hours of continuing education in ethics. **Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors.
