Preferred registration deadline: March 29th 3 CEUs Mentoring the next generation of clinicians is one of the most rewarding ways seasoned social workers can contribute the future of our field and the access of future clients to quality care. Clear, mutually-held expectations are vital to maintaining a constructive relationship for both supervisor and supervisee. This workshop will focus on recommend practices for beginning clinical supervision of a new social worker. We will discuss considerations specific to providing supervision to someone within your agency and to individuals who do not work for your same employer. Ideas will be provided for how to strike a balance between your supervisee guiding their own learning and you establishing a plan for content you believe needs to be covered.
