Preferred registration deadline: May 3rd 6 CEUs Individuals with borderline personality disorder struggle to control their emotions, communications, behaviors, and thoughts which dysregulate their sense of self. Seen from the outside, this struggle can be confusing and frustrating to family, friends…and even mental health professionals. This workshop will address the common myths regarding borderline personality disorder and review effective treatments, with an emphasis on both psychosocial and pharmacological interventions. Class discussion will include theory to explain the development and maintenance of borderline personality disorder, as well as the long-term trajectory of the disorder. General Admission: $100** Class size is limited to 45. **Discounted Admission is offered to current Brown School field instructors, Brown School adjunct faculty, recent Brown School graduates (2016-2018), full-time graduate students from other universities, and Washington University faculty and staff.
