Knowing whether, when, and how to intervene is key. Mediation offers one approach managers can employ. Generally, mediation is any process in which another person helps those in conflict address their differences in a healthy and constructive way. In this highly interactive workshop you will examine the value and appropriateness of mediation as a means to facilitate difficult conversations between those you supervise. You will be introduced to a seven step framework and will have opportunity to practice such conversations using the framework as your guide. General Admission: $50** Class size is limited to 30. **Discounted Admission is offered to current Brown School field instructors, Brown School adjunct faculty, recent Brown School graduates (2016-2018), full-time graduate students from other universities, and Washington University faculty and staff.
