Preferred registration deadline: April 5th 3 CEUs/CPH units Around the office or around the house, our own communication style – direct or inferential – affects not only what we say, but also what we hear and what we are likely to observe from non-verbal information. Participants in this workshop will become familiar with the communication styles and learn ways to adapt to facilitate better communication with those of a different style. Strategies will be presented to improve problem solving skills and teamwork. We will discuss the role of listening skills to prevent misinterpretation of information. General Admission: $50** Class size is limited to 45. **Discounted Admission is offered to current Brown School field instructors, Brown School adjunct faculty, recent Brown School graduates (2016-2018), full-time graduate students from other universities, and Washington University faculty and staff.
