BRWN-010016 - Overcoming Communication Style Differences: Strategies for Better Teamwork

Preferred registration deadline: April 5th 3 CEUs/CPH units Around the office or around the house, our own communication style – direct or inferential – affects not only what we say, but also what we hear and what we are likely to observe from non-verbal information. Participants in this workshop will become familiar with the communication styles and learn ways to adapt to facilitate better communication with those of a different style. Strategies will be presented to improve problem solving skills and teamwork. We will discuss the role of listening skills to prevent misinterpretation of information.
