This course provides an in-depth exploration of Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) as an evidence-based treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Participants will learn about the theoretical underpinnings and empirical support for CPT. Essential components and interventions within the CPT protocol will be introduced, with an emphasis on practical application through observation and practice of core clinical skills. The course also addresses common clinical challenges faced by both therapists and clients, equipping students with strategies to manage these effectively in real-world settings.
