In this course, members will examine the great works of Charles Dickens with a focus on Little Dorrit, his powerful novel set in Marshalsea, the debtors' prison where Dickens’s own father was once confined. Little Dorrit offers a vivid portrayal of the struggles of London's poor and the social injustices of Victorian England.
