In this course, members will explore the increasing effects of climate change and the complex factors driving these changes. Topics will include CO2 emissions and atmospheric retention, the impact on atmospheric and oceanic temperatures, ice melt rates, and rising sea levels. Members will revisit and update a model presented in a similar course in 2021 to assess whether these factors are accelerating, decelerating or remaining stable. The course will delve into broader aspects of climate change, including shifting weather patterns, and will address the ecological, economic and social consequences. Members will also engage in discussions about potential actions to address these pressing issues.  Note:  No class 1/20
