BRWN-01010 - Suicide Risk Assessment and Post-vention in the School Setting
Preferred registration deadline: March 7th
3 CEs
Suicide is now the second leading cause of death in individuals of middle school, high school, and college age, exceeded only by accidents. Suicide is responsible for more deaths of American 10–24-year-olds each year than all natural causes combined. Social workers, other mental health providers, and school professionals must have up-to-date information regarding suicide risk assessment, responding to students deemed at risk, and appropriate responses after a suicide death in the school community, to prevent further deaths.
This is an interactive synchronous distance learning course via Zoom.
This workshop meets the requirement for at least 2 CEUs in suicide continuing education each licensure period.
General Admission: $65**
**Eligible discounts can be applied during checkout.
Class size is limited to 45.
