With the ongoing mental health crisis in our country, the demand for therapy has never been higher, with burnout at alarming rates. Most clinicians and social workers in private practice have had little to no guidance or education on how to structure or run their business, particularly in a way that aims to reduce feelings of burnout.

In this introductory workshop, we will cover the basic principles and practical strategies for making your private practice more sustainable so you can continue your life-changing work for years to come. We will gain a deeper understanding of the converging crises of soaring demand for mental health services, clinician burnout, and lack of clinician training in running a sustainable business. We will also learn practical branding, marketing, financial, operations and growth strategies, and how to filter your private practice business decisions through a lens of sustainability.

General Admission: $60**

Class size is limited to 50.

**Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other WU programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available.
