This class will include both degree-seeking graduate students and practicing professionals. Individuals registering through Professional Development will receive continuing education units - but not academic credit - for the class.
Learner Outcomes
- Learn how to emphasize strengths, foster collaboration, and align shared visions to create meaningful connections that lead to support.
- Develop a comprehensive strategy for engaging with grant makers, focusing on best practices for building rapport and maintaining communication both before the application is submitted and after a funding decision is made.
- Apply professional writing techniques and insights from the grant maker's perspective to draft a persuasive foundation proposal that clearly articulates impact and captures a reviewer's attention.
Course Completion Requirements:
The Brown School is an approved provider of Social Work CEs in Missouri and Illinois. To earn credit, attendees must arrive at the scheduled time, attend the entire course, and complete an online course evaluation. You may still qualify for partial Social Work Missouri and Illinois CEs if you miss part of the training.
