Preferred registration deadline: June 14th

This workshop will be held in person at the Brown School.

3 CEUs/CPH units

Inevitably, individuals in leadership roles will face conflict. Often, a leader’s effectiveness depends on their ability to manage conflict successfully. Using the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument, an assessment tool that explores five basic conflict handling modes, participants in this interactive session will examine their own preferred conflict styles in relation to others and carefully consider the characteristics, behaviors, advantages, and disadvantages of different styles. Participants will explore how the overuse and underuse of each style impact communication, problem-solving, and the breadth of depth of their own conflict repertoire.

General Admission: $60**

Class size is limited to 30.

**Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other WU programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available. Admission discounts can be selected in the checkout process.
