F. Scott Fitzgerald was considered a phenom early in his career, but personal, marital, and financial problems led to a difficult adult life and early death, at which time all his novels were out of print.  This course will explore several of Fitzgerald’s best known works through seminar-guided group discussion. As biographical context, we will discuss Fitzgerald’s relationships with his literary contemporaries, his personal life, and his problematic marriage to his wife Zelda Sayre.
